Plumeria's First Desert Bloom
9.6.2010 - It has been about 2 months since I purchased a pink and a red plumeria from a big box store here in AZ. I wasn't sure they would do well and it has been a bit of a challenge, but we are making progress. The red plumeria is getting ready to bloom! After a bout with spider mites (I got rid of them with a blast of the hose) and some sunburn when first bringing them home they are doing pretty well now.
Both plumeria have grown about 5-6 inches in height since then and are starting to produce leaves more rapidly.
