USDA Hardiness zones: 4-11
Rose type: Wild
Rose color: Dusty Pink
Characteristics: This rose is a medium to tall shrub that reaches about 6 feet in fertile soil. The stems are slim and brown with fat thorns. The matted leaves are dark green and made up of 5 to 7 leaflets. The flowers have no scent and appear either alone or in small clusters.
Many good resources claim the Cinnamon Rose has little to no garden value but I disagree. While this rose isn't a show stopper, it can be a nice, delicate accent in a layered desert garden. Makes a good alternative to salvia in groupings.

The soft, pink color of this tiny rose has a deep yellow stamen.

The rarely seen double form of this rose is said to be one of the oldest of recorded roses.
